(Book Two in the Consolation Duet)

I fell in love with Liam only to be left shattered into a million pieces. Again. The idea of being without him cripples me but the reality is, he’s gone.

He doesn’t understand and I can’t make him.

If only he’d see the conviction behind my words—then he’d still be here.

I received this book from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

My Review

So, if you’ve read Consolation then I KNOW you’ve been waiting for Conviction. I honestly have no clue what to say without giving anything storyline related away, but I will say I thought it was a perfect conclusion. I loved seeing the healing and growth between the characters we fell in love with in Consolation. Consolation left me a nervous wreck with the ending and I found that Conviction was like my Xanax lol. It soothed me; it calmed my nerves; I think he helped heal me as well as Nat and Liam. There were some surprises that I never saw coming; some leaving me in tears, some making me a very happy reader. Corinne’s writing takes me on an emotional journey with each turn of the page and it’s one I’ll gladly ride each and every single time.

About Corinne Michaels

Corinne Michaels is the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Salvation Series and Say You’ll Stay. She’s an emotional, witty, sarcastic, and fun loving mom of two beautiful children. Corinne is happily married to the man of her dreams and is a former Navy wife. After spending months away from her husband while he was deployed, reading and writing was her escape from the loneliness.

Both her maternal and paternal grandmothers were librarians, which only intensified her love of reading. After years of writing short stories, she couldn’t ignore the call to finish her debut novel, Beloved. Her alpha heroes are broken, beautiful, and will steal your heart.
