I’m excited to have Jessica Sorensen here today! After reading Ella and Micha I recommended Jessica’s books to my niece, Destiny and before I knew it, Destiny morphed into a Jessica super fan. She INHALES Jessica’s books like she needs them to breathe on release day. She pre-orders as soon as each book is available and patiently (not) waits for a little after midnight on release days for it to hit her Kindle. Recently, Destiny had the opportunity to interview Jessica and today I have that interview as well as a signed set of the Coincidence series to giveaway to one lucky US reader!
An Interview with Jessica <3
1. In all the books we see each character grow a little more, in your opinion which character has grown the most?
In my opinion, the character that grew the most in The Coincidence Series was Violet. She started out as a pretty closed off person, on the wrong track, with no regard for her own life and turned into someone who got her life together and started caring about herself enough to let people in.
2. Who do you think is more relatable, Callie or Violet?
It seems like readers relate more to Callie’s personality and what she went through. Violet can be a little quirky and odd and a little less relatable for readers.
3. Which character do you think is the strongest/showed the most strength?
I think it would be either Callie or Luke. Callie speaking about what happened to her was a huge thing that took a lot of strength. But I think Luke forgiving his father and testifying against his mother also took a lot of strength.
4. Kayden always say his friendship with Luke works because they don’t talk about their problems, how different would their relationship be/how would things change for them?
I think it would definitely be interesting to write a scene where the two of them open up to each other. My guess is they’d talk and then there would be some tears shed followed by some awkwardness. But they’d still be good friends.
5. Seth is sort of like Callie’s voice of reason, can you say the same for Grayson and Violet?
I’ve actually thought that quite a few times. It wasn’t done intentionally at first, but yeah, I think Greyson ended up a Seth for Violet.
