Today I’m excited to share my review of Emma Chase’s Tied. It seems like only yesterday I met Drew for the first time and fell head over heels in love with that dirty mouthed, lovable, man-flu having a**hole! This series is one that brings a smile to my face every time I think of it <3
In the fourth sexy romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Tangled and Twisted, Drew and Kate can’t wait to tie the knot—if they can survive the pre-wedding festivities.
For most of my life, I never imagined I’d get married. But Kate did the impossible: she changed me. I think we can all agree I was pretty frigging awesome before, but now I’m even better.
The road to this day wasn’t all rainbows and boners. There were mistakes and misunderstandings worthy of a Greek tragedy. But Kate and I made it through with our inexhaustible lust, boundless admiration, and everlasting love for one another intact.
That being said, there were some unexpected incidents in Vegas last weekend that could have been a problem. It was kind of… my final test.
I know what you’re thinking—what the hell did you do this time? Relax. Let’s not judge, or call for my castration, until you’ve heard the whole story.
And hold on tight, because you’re in for a wild ride. Did you expect anything less?
Writing this review makes me kind of sad because it means Drew and Kate’s story has come to an end. When I first met man flu having Drew last year I thought “this guy is an a**hole!” Little did I know he was such an endearing, hilarious, lovable a**hole who I would fall in love with.
Tied was everything I hoped it would be. After seeing he and Kate through all their trials and tribulations of falling in love and staying in love, their wedding was something I was looking forward to. Emma didn’t disappoint me. The moments leading up to that final “test” were sweet. I loved seeing Drew and Kate with James and Drew as a dad COMPLETELY shocked me! Those moments between he and James showed me just how much he’s grown up *sigh*
Now, you KNOW with these ladies and gentlemen, a Vegas bachelor/bachelorette party will be skies the limit and anything that could happen, would happen. It was hilarious and had me cracking up, but it also showed me just how much Kate and Drew loved each other and how much they’ve grown up since Tangled. Don’t get me wrong, I had an “oh no, no no no” moment” but I was quickly soothed.
The epilogue did made me cry bittersweet tears because it was perfect for them and it meant my time with these characters was coming to an end. Thank you Emma, thank you for giving me Drew, a devilishly sexy man that can make me laugh and want to wring his neck at the same time, he’s a character I won’t soon forget.
*I received a ecopy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review as well as ordered the paperback to complete my collection
