About Unforgiven

Lindsay Christianson seemingly has it all—the perfect career, the perfect boyfriend, and the best-laid plans for a perfect life—until one phone call changes everything.

With a moments notice, Lindsay must choose between her perfect life and her professional dreams. The choice momentarily seems clear when the opportunity to propel her career abruptly sends her across the country, leaving everything she loves behind in North Carolina.

Navigating a new city with a broken heart and a job where her colleagues will do anything to sabotage her success, the pressure quickly becomes too great. When old habits resurface, Lindsay finds herself chasing demons she thought were long since buried.

With pain and destruction left in her wake, will Lindsay find a way to erase the damage she’s done, or will her sins remain unforgiven?

**This book is a Contemporary Romance and contains mature subject matter. It is not intended for those under 17 years of age.**

My Review

After reading Undone I was excited to see that Lindsay and Matt would be getting their story told. I’m not shy at all in admitting I love Rebecca’s writing, she speaks to my feels. In Unforgiven, she spoke to them loudly and clearly. I FELT Lindsay’s emotions. I could hear her voice in my head; her sadness, her regret, her defeat and her happiness in my head clear as day. At 9% I was already crying and the sad/happy/proud of Lindsay tears came and went throughout reading. What I loved most is the flawed and imperfect characters Rebecca has given us. Even though I wanted to yell at Lindsay for some of her choices, I understood where she was coming from. All of her life she had someone taking care of her and she needed this time to learn, grow and make not the best choices…which she ultimately learned from. She was a character most women could relate to. Matt was wonderful *sigh* he was supportive, caring and loving; despite the heartbreak Lindsay caused him. He never stopped loving her. Unforgiven was a perfect example of two people needing to fall apart to see if they’re meant to fall back together, stronger than before. It’s a beautifully told story of heartbreak, self-destruction, self-discovery, forgiveness and redemption. Rebecca absolutely nailed the final installment in her Unbreakable series and while I’m sad that it’s over, I’m so glad that I was able to experience all of her characters and their stories. I’m excited to see what Rebecca has in store for us next.

(Me, reading Unforgiven)

I may have also loved it so much that I PM’d Rebecca with this lol
