Cooper (Corps Security, #4)Cooper by Harper Sloan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cooper is Harper’s best work thus far. After Beck I was curious as to how this book would play out but Harped knocked it out of the park! I feel like her writing has gotten better with each book, especially on the emotional front. I was already fighting tears in chapter 2 at the nail shop. After what Ash and Chelsie went through in Beck, I knew Cooper would put me through the emotional wringer…and I loved each minute. I loved seeing Asher and Chelsie fight their feelings for each other at first and then FINALLY give into the undeniable pull between them (with a little shove from Sway and Dee. Cooper was just an incredible story of forgiveness(Asher holds on to a lot of guilt he needed to let go of) love, and family. One of the main things I love with Harper’s series is she shows you time and time again that family is not determined by blood or DNA. Just a heads up, keep tissues handy because the writing is beautiful and at times WILL have you in tears.
