Love, in English was beyond GREAT! I read this on my flights to and from Book Bash and my poor seat mates must’ve thought I was nuts from my silent sobbing throughout parts of the book. Vera and Mateo’s love story is just incredibly beautiful. Despite their differences, they were able to form a friendship that innocently and organically turned into something more; more than the other ever thought it could be. The more Vera tried to fight her feelings for Mateo the harder he fought to make her see the possibilities of something more between them (yes, he’s married BUT I’m not mad at him, you have to read it to understand why he does what he does). This story pulled me in so completely from the start and held me tight as I read. And sobbed. Karina made me FEEL their love, passion and at times, heartbreak. What I really want to say is, this was so FREAKING good just read it!
