I LOVE Abbi Glines, my love for began with her Vincent Boys and continued on to her Seabreeze Series and Rosemary Beach Series. I’m excited to celebrate the release of her latest, Rush Too Far.
 #RUSHCRUSH
Title: RUSH TOO FAR (Rosemary Beach 1.1)
Author: Abbi Glines
Publisher: Atria Books (May 6, 2014)
Fallen Too Far was Blaire’s story. Now it’s time for Rush to share his side.

Everyone in Rosemary Beach thinks they know how Rush Finlay and Blaire Wynn fell in love. But Rush is back to tell his side of the story…

Rush has earned every bit of his bad-boy reputation. The three-story beach house, luxury car, and line of girls begging for time between his sheets are the envy of every guy in Rosemary Beach, and Rush handles it all with the laid-back cool of a rock star’s son. All he needs are his best friend, Grant, and his sister, Nan.

Until Blaire Wynn drives into town in her beat-up pickup truck with a pistol under her seat. The Alabama farm girl instantly captures Rush’s attention once he discovers that the angelic beauty is his new stepsister, but he vows to keep his distance. Even if she needs his help. Even if he craves her.

Because Rush knows why Blaire is all alone in the world, forced to ask for help from the father who abandoned her three years ago. And he knows if he gets too close it will destroy Nan, who has a secret connection to Blaire.

He has every reason in the world to stay away from her. Find out why he doesn’t.

Rush Too Far without a doubt reignited my Rush Crush, not that it ever completely went away, but reading this kicked it back into high gear! I LOVE a guy’s POV, whether it be a full book or alternating chapters, I can’t get enough so getting all Rush all the time was a win for me.
I loved being inside his head, it excited me seeing just how conflicted and nervous our sweet innocent Blaire seemed to make our cocky, panty dropper, Rush Finlay. I really enjoyed finding out just what he thought and how he felt about Blaire; seeing her for the first time, seeing his anguish over what he had done to tear her family apart, how he beat himself up for how he treated her when she arrived at his home with no other place to go. I liked that he felt guilty for his actions, seeing his guilt helped me finally see the Rush that Blaire saw in Fallen Too Far. I saw the “more to him” that she saw. He really wasn’t a jerk face! Most of all, I loved seeing Rush fall in love with Blaire, he fell hard and fast for the girl that was simply herself. Rush Too Far makes me want Abbi to write the remaining books in his POV, the ending emotionally cutting me just like it did in Fallen Too Far, maybe more so here. Reading it through Rush’s eyes broke my heart just as it did his. For fans of Abbi’s and of this series, you can’t miss this one!
