(book 3 in the Mystic Wolves series)
:Synopsis:
Nothing burns as bright as the flames of the refiner’s fire.

Moments after hearing the Council sentence her enemy to life imprisonment for attempted murder and illegal use of magic, Darcy is whisked away by the Fates—accused of tampering with destiny. The cherished dream she shared with Mason has been called into question, placing doubt about whether they are actually true mates. To resolve it, a price must be paid—the Heart or Death—a grueling series of tests designed to reveal a person’s worth.

The stakes are high and Darcy finds herself facing the unknown in conditions that leave her more vulnerable than she’s ever been. Separated from Mason and her Pack, with Devlin as her only companion, she is pushed to her very limits. She must succeed—or lose everything.

Will she crumble under the pressure or emerge stronger for testing fate?

Mason and Darcy are finally rid of the psycho Amber who tried to claim Mason as her true mate in book two(Forget Me Not)she was found guilty at her trial.
The Three Fates,

the women who control the destiny of the world and everyone in it fears one of their own intervened in bringing Mason and Darcy together.
In order to determine if they are truly destined to mate, Darcy agrees to participate in “Heart and Death” trials a challenge that will test her very soul.
What an incredible imagination the author Belinda Boring has, she
will take you on a journey to another realm where all is not as it seems.
From recollections of childhood friends to casting spells for love
to wandering in mazes

where shadows hide dangerous beings will all test

Darcy’s strength of character.
I love these books but they are driving me crazy. I held my breath during each challenge hoping Darcy was strong enough to get through them and just when I sat back and took a long deep breath the ending, a new revelation took me by utter surprise!
Fates, witches, and even vampires

all play a crucial part in this story and I need the next in the series “ Forever Changed” for my
happy ending, just not sure who will be part of that ending!

Testing Fate picks up right where Forget Me Not left off…that bat crap crazy Amber is locked away and
Darcy and Mason are facing the Heart and Death challenge to prove to The Fates that they truly are destined to be together. Not only are they separated while completing their respective challenges their memories of each other are wiped clean as well. I think a little piece of me died inside witnessing that part. Belinda however, did bring that piece back to life…how she did it is for me to know and you to read :-p
As the third book in the series I find myself just as in love with it as I was the first one. Belinda has a way of bringing you into her magical world of werewolves, vampires, witches, and fates and she allows you to get lost in the pages with such flawless descriptions of the characters and their surroundings you can close your eyes and imagine you’re there. Three books in and I’m still hooked and eagerly awaiting the next book Forever Changed…another paranormal twist is found out at the end of Testing Fate and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!!!
Hello Belinda!!! I am positively squeeing with delight to have the Queen of Swoon with me today 🙂
Come sit down and relax; can I get you anything?
Maybe a hug? *gives a quick one, grinning* I’m excited to be here as well!
-Belinda, you’re known as the Queen of Swoon, I know how you got that nickname but for those that may not, would you mind sharing how that came to be?
It was a nickname readers gave me after reading my books. I’m an avid romance reader, and for me, it’s always about the SWOON. I love the moments of anticipation between characters, the butterflies in the stomach, the chemistry, and “I-can’t-believe-he-likes-me”. I love reading stories where the guy not only captures the heart of the girl, but mine as well.
They say to write what you love, and that’s what I do. Each story makes me swoon, leaving me in a puddle of giddy, lovestruck goo, and it did the same with readers. Pretty quickly they began calling me the Queen of Swoon and it stuck! It’s a great honor, and one I take serious.
(I can attest it’s a title well deserved)
-The men you write about are pretty swoony-licious, my favorite being Mason (there’s something about a strong Alpha that calls me lol) where does the inspiration for them come from?
I love pulling from my real life experiences, and with living my own ‘happy-ever-after’, my husband is the perfect inspiration behind the guys I write about. I’m married to one of the most amazing men EVER—his traits are threaded through each character whether it’s those tender moments, considerate gestures, or heartfelt support. We have a great relationship and I love him so much! It adds great depth to my guys, making them SWOONworthy heroes!
-Testing Fate is the 3rd book in your Mystic Wolves series, as the series progresses do you find it easier or harder to write about Mason & Darcy?
I find it easier to write them because an incredible connection has been forged between us. The more I learn about them and spend time together, the more real they become. I feel what they feel, experiencing each situation as they do, and get caught up in their thoughts. I miss their lives when I’m working on different projects, and it’s exciting when they pop into my head with new ideas.
I will say this, though. With Testing Fate, there were hard chapters to write solely because I didn’t want to put them through heartache. It might sound crazy, but I argued with them, adamant I wasn’t going to listen, but in the end it’s their story. Mason and Darcy are incredible characters. I love them!
-After reading Testing Fate we learn a little tidbit about everyone’s favorite vampire enforcer Devlin; will we see more of him in Forever Changed? (Book 4 of the Mystic Wolves series) *please say yes, please say yes*  do you have any idea when we can expect it?
Devlin plays a very huge role in the rest of the series. He becomes one of the main characters alongside Mason and Darcy, and once the sixth book is finished, he’ll be getting his own series. Devlin has his own story to tell, one that excites me. So yes, you’ll be seeing A LOT more of the sexy Enforcer. He’s too amazing to ignore!
(Yes!!!)
-What was your favorite scene to write in Testing Fate? ( I know what my favorite one was, and no, it didn’t contain any naughtiness lol)
Hmmm, my favorite scene. I don’t think I could choose just one. Actually, maybe there’s one that stands out just a little more than the others. There’s a character in this series I absolutely LOATHE. If I had my way, she would’ve met a grisly end quickly, but that would’ve made for a REALLY short book—one chapter. I LOVED writing the scene where she gets her come-uppance! It even tops the swoony kisses and the infamous Chapter 24. J
(That was a good scene…I may have squealed in delight when said character got what she deserved)
-Last question…and I say this with love and the utmost respect for you…do you enjoy the cliffhangers lol? I have to be honest, you are one of the few authors that pulls them off very WELL! You always leave me wanting more and have me eagerly awaiting the next book.
Hahaha, I have a very real LOVE/HATE relationship with cliffhangers. I’m an impatient person so having to wait to find out what happens next drives me crazy. BUT, I’m addicted to that adrenaline pumping, heart racing, ‘HOLY COW, THE AUTHOR ENDED IT THAT WAY??’ feeling that comes with cliffhanger. Some of my favorite books end with them so when writing the Mystic Wolves series, I wrote what I enjoyed.
Plus, I’m not going to lie. I LOVE the total ‘MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA’ moment knowing my readers are going to have that same experience. With each of these books, I actually have the last line written before anything else and laugh with glee. Yep, I’m mean!
Belinda I want to thank you for taking the time out to sit with me today and I can’t wait to see you in Vegas!!!
I love talking about Mason and Darcy so thanks for inviting me! I just want to say thank you for all your support, as well. It means a lot!
Naughty Mafia Rocks is going to be amazing. See you there <3

  1. OMG, a total of six books…. I may need oxygen for the last three if I keep holding my breath. I need Darcy and Mason to have their happily ever after. So glad Devlin will have his own story. I love them vamps!
