:Synopsis:

Johanna Walker is used to taking charge. But she’s about to meet someone who will make her lose control….

It has always been up to Johanna to care for her family, particularly her younger brother, Cole. With an absent father and a useless mother, she’s been making decisions based on what’s best for Cole for as long as she can remember. She even determines what men to date by how much they can provide for her brother and her, not on whatever sparks may—or may not—fly.

But with Cameron MacCabe, the attraction is undeniable. The sexy new bartender at work gives her butterflies every time she looks at him. And for once, Jo is tempted to put her needs first. Cam is just as obsessed with getting to know Jo, but her walls are too solid to let him get close enough to even try.

Then Cam moves into the flat below Jo’s, and their blistering connection becomes impossible to ignore. Especially since Cam is determined to uncover all of Jo’s secrets …even if it means taking apart her defenses piece by piece.
If you read ‘On Dublin Street’ you will remember Jo, Jocelyn’s friend, they worked together
At Club 39. This is the story of Johanna Walker/Jo and Cameron MacCabe. Hands off ladies
Cam is all mine, he is so freakin HOT, and I want him to just melt all over me!
What a story, once I started reading it I needed to know the ending and
everything in between it has it all, flirtation, abuse, angst, friendship, love and delicious
mind boggling sex!
Jo is a very likeable character, insecure with herself and her future, she dates men with
money hoping one day it would lead to more. She has a lot on her plate, she is the
primary caregiver for her younger brother Cole and her alcoholic mother.
The more you get to know Jo the more you feel for her, growing up with an abusive
father and her mum who shut down and got lost in a bottle. Working two jobs to make
ends meet takes its toll on her self-esteem.
Enter Cameron, he and Jo meet at an art gallery and he develops an instant dislike for
her, he thinks he knows her… gold digger.
As their rocky relationship grew, Cam soon realizes there is more to Jo than he thought.
I loved watching their relationship develop from barely tolerating one another, to
friend and then lovers. I mean seriously, who could resist Cam, tall, muscular, sexy
grin, blue eyes and tattoos if Jo wasn’t going to clam him I would! Their back and forth
banter left me laughing and squirming in my seat but Jo is insecure and her lack of
confidence in herself and Cam may ruin what happiness she has found. New characters
have been introduced Olivia and Nate, and their story will be out in January 2014 one
I will be waiting for. 5 *****
:Quotes:
“He’s hot. Can we have him?”
“Do you know how many times I’ve imagined these long, gorgeous legs wrapped
around me as I fucked you?”
“Every day. And none of the fantasies were as good as the real thing.”
“I’m going to fuck you so hard, sink so deep inside you, you’ll never work me out from under
your skin. Never.”
“I’m just wondering if I should be worried that the love of your life is suddenly back in it?”
