Navigating the world alone is all Josephine Geroux has ever known. Life altering tragedy struck early on for her. She endured an admirable struggle through her youth and learned the hard way how to adapt and survive. She managed to arrive at adulthood in one piece in spite of it all.
After such chaos, maintaining a life free of complications is a priority for her.
Everything changed when a man with amber eyes came through her door and claimed her heart. She fell hard in more ways than one. The pull between Jo and Damon seemed like fate bringing things full circle.
With another devastating loss looming, Jo fights to hold on to the very thing that brought her to her knees. She finds herself torn between a promising future and clinging to a devastating past.
But that’s not the most worrisome problem on her hands.
She must convince more than just herself to let the past stay in the past, where it belongs, but on her journey to find closure and resolution, she does the exact opposite. An old wound caused by a heinous act becomes exposed for what it is. The truth is catastrophic and Jo is helpless, watching as the ruins of her fragile world endure more turmoil.
Can something conceived from tragedy and malice end well? Can something so completely poisoned conquer adversity? Jo is left to make a decision; accept the circumstances she finds herself in or fight with unwavering ferocity to restore what has been damaged.
*Restore Me is the second book in the Wrecked series*

:My Review of Restore Me:
To start I’m going to reiterate what I said at the end of my review of Wreck Me in that Restore Me
is also another book in where one wrong word and you’re coming after me because I accidentally spoiled something for you…So bare with me, I’m going to do my best to be spoiler free BUT if you happen to see my review cuts off abruptly I had to abort mission and get the hell outta dodge!
Okaayyy to quickly recap, when I finished Wreck Me (book 1) I was left feeling
from that ending! I mean I just finished falling for Mr Sexy Dominate Damon and the rug gets pulled out
from under me, but anyhoo; I digress. Restore Me picks up a week later and and we’re still
wondering about Damon, did he? Didn’t he? Does he? Yet again through J.L.’s writing trickery we start off thinking the worst, however common sense should tell you if the worst happened that would be the end of the story and you can interpret that how you’d like 🙂
If you look up the definition of restore (I looked it up at dictionary.com) you get:
1. to bring back into existence, use, or the like; reestablish: to restore order.
2. to bring back to a former, original, or normal condition, as a building, statue, or painting.
3. to bring back to a state of health, soundness, or vigor.
4. to put back to a former place, or to a former position, rank, etc.: to restore the king to his throne.
5. to give back; make return or restitution of (anything taken away or lost).
That’s exactly what this book was about, Jo fighting and working to restore what she once had with Damon.
We finally learn ALL of the secrets of his past and you can’t help but feel for him and everything he’s been through in his life. He still harbors a TON of guilt over “that” situation from when he was a teenager.
We learn about all of the abuse he suffered growing up…we learn who his…..uh ah my lips are sealed on that tidbit but trust me you’d never see it coming!
Once again Jo kicks ass here, she’s strong and determined. She knows she’s got the fight of her
life on her hands to get back what she wants and failing isn’t an option.
Once again J.L. treats us to a story with twists and turns and outcomes you never saw coming but she also leaves
my favorites! Context clues to make you think as you’re reading along. We do meet a new character in this book, Grams handyman Andy with whom she wants to get fresh with lol. I love that old bat! However the jury is still out on Handy Andy and I have my doubts about him and who/what he really is…If you’ve read Wreck Me you definitely need to read Restore Me…my only disappointment was the length, it felt like I had just started and BAM I was done. Nonetheless, I couldn’t stop reading once I started it and I can’t wait for the final book, Accept Me to be released
Restore Me is also currently on sale for $.99 at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Kobo
