Ok some of you know I live in New Jersey ans we got hit hard by Hurricane Sandy and I’ve been without power, heat, and wi-fi since Monday night (and it SUCKS but it could be worse) so what else is a book nerd with a never ending reading list to do? I read..a lot…thanks to my car chargers I always had my Kindle Fire and iPhone charged. I read 7 books total and I don’t think I’ll be able to catch up and do individual reviews but I want to shout out the book I did read because they were all really GREAT books!
Forget Me Not by Belinda Boring:
This is book two in Belinda’s Mystic Wolves series and I can not get enough of Darcy & Mason…or Devlin. If you’re into paranormal sexy shape shifters I highly suggest this series; book one is The Mystic Wolves and I can NOT wait for book three Tempting Fate.
Just for Now by Abbi Glines:
Now I have been salivating for this one and prerecorded it a week before it’s release and wanted to cry because it was released October 30th and I had no wi-fi or cell service to download into my Kindle BUT some how I got service during the night because Wednesday it was waiting for me…Now let me tell you if you love Cage York you will absolutely LOVVEEE Preston Drake! Just for Now was was steamy, hot, sexy and just well worth the wait. Read it you’ll love it…Preston gets a 9.5 on my panty dropper scale
Delicate by Steph Campbell:
If you’ve read Grounding Quinn then you know Sydney, Quinn’s best friend…this is her story and honestly I think this book needs to be put in the hands of every girl in middle school & high school. In this book Sydney is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend and Steph handles the subject in a realistic and honest way and it was great to see Sydney gain the strength to say enough is enough.
Devoured by Emily Snow:
After Devoured I think I am officially in love with the tattooed “bad” boy rockstars…this was just a hot book and kept me warm in bed (no not like that you perverts!) Sienna and Lucas had fantastically hot chemistry two years ago when they met on the set of one of his videos and after an almost night together Sienna spends the next two years trying to forget Lucas while he can’t forget her or her body. It’s interesting to see how they end up back in each others lives and I loved how Lucas was determined to get Sienna by any means necessary…Lucas gets a 9.5 on my panty dropper scale
Intuition by Amy Bartol:
This is book two in Amy’s Premonition series…I can’t not begin to describe how excellent this series is. It picks up right where Premonition ends and we’re treated to yet another well written story of Evie & Reed plus Amy throws in an few more enemies for good measure 🙂
Mortal Obligation by Nichole Chase:
I realllyyyy liked book one in Nichole’s Dark Betrayal series. In this book we meet Ree, a 17 yr old self described art nerd who, during a normal night out, finds she’s got these supernatural powers and she’s been pegged to save the world with her best friends who are now her guardians…piece of cake right? Nichole really gives us a descriptive story and detailed characters, a love triangle and a twist at the end that will knock your socks off! I’m currently reading book two Mortal Defiance…BTW Mortal Obligation is currently free on Amazon!
The Story of Ella & Micha:
Ella & Micha have been best friend since they were kids, they’ve seen each other at their best and at their worst but after Ella’s “worst” she leaves town and heads to college never saying goodbye to Micha and as a result he’s spent the lat 8 months trying to find her…but Ella can’t stay away forever. It was fantastic seeing Ella & Micha work thru their respective issues and find their way back to each other (and into Micha’s bed!!!) This was the first book by Jessica I’ve read but it won’t be my last. I can’t wait for the follow up!
